Enjambment
Meaning: This is a device used in poetry where a sentence continues beyond the end of the line or verse. This technique is often used to maintain a sense of continuation from one stanza to another.
Examples:
Lovely nature has something to offer
you; so inhale the fresh air
And, beautifully, learn by deciding where to go.
you; so inhale the fresh air
And, beautifully, learn by deciding where to go.
The rooms feel mirror reflection
For that glowing face,
The windows were covered
With frost. Outside
Is a world of ice.
For that glowing face,
The windows were covered
With frost. Outside
Is a world of ice.
