Opinion on conservation
Conservation to me means looking after plants and animals that are instinct, and where we all help out in saving the world from pollution. We always need to help the world to get back to it's healthy self again.

AIM: investigate and record some traditional ways food was preserved
Method:
Step 1: research to find ways food was preserved
Step 2: Tell you how
Step 3: get it checked
Food could be dried in embers or, in the geothermal Rotorua area, spread on hot rocks. Foods commonly dried and hung from lines. To dry in the sun and wind. Meat, fruits and seeds were also dried.Fatty birds such as tītī were preserved in their own fat.Mara kai is a traditional fermentation process for food such as crayfish and fish.

Aim: to make a map of some native plants in hornby high school but be able to say a fact about all the plants we find
Method:
Step 1, Ask miss aitken for a list of native plants
Step 2, Find a map of hornby high school.
Step 3, Go around school to find and locate native plants we can find
Step 4, Write a fact about each plant we find
Equipment: Pen and paper, photographs of the native plants of what we will be looking for
Connor will go find the plants we need.
Kayne will go and take a photo of all of our plants that we find
